Project Overview

GPS Cargo Handling Ltd was contracted to LLS a 5-tonne steel mainframe in guage on the width and shunt loaded flat rack to London Gateway Port. The Cargo was loaded and chocked with heat treated timer. This cargo required specialist lifting equipment and a bespoke lashing plan approved by the shipping line.

Our team used the reach stacker and strops to lift the mainframe from the delivery trailer, and placed the cargo on a 40ft flat rack. The cargo was fully lashed with timber dunnage and chocks, rated to exceed IMO CSS Code requirements.
